Assignment for 3/26

Pick a Sonlight book that you have read since Christmas.

Pretend you are a professional book reviewer and are writing a review for a newspaper or magazine. Here is an example of a book review I wrote for my blog--of Moccasin Trail. It's more complicated than what you need to write, but it's an example of the tone you should set.

Paragraph one:
Start with a strong introductory sentence and then summarize the story in a few sentences.

Paragraph two (6th and 8th graders only):
Select a plot element to discuss. E.g. conflict, plot, characterization. You may discuss two elements if they are related--e.g. conflict and plot.

Paragraph three:
Give your reaction to the story. Why did you like or dislike it? Would you recommend it? For what audience?
