Jockules by Jockulater14
Few have heard of the great, Greek warrior Jockules of Thebes, who led his Thesbian army against the monstrous warriors of Sparta. He was said to have had long, wavy hair, as black as the tomb of pharaoh and dark blue eyes that could pierce your heart with a single glance. He had a slender torso with sturdy legs and arms that could crush the life out of any normal man. But his face was not what you would expect of a great warrior. It was slender and sharp with thin eyebrows, dark pink lips, small nose and not much hair on his body as most men have. When he was young his Thesbian friends mocked his womanly features, but when it came to fighting nobody doubted his physical or mental strength. Jocklules learned to think from his father, who taught him to be brave, wise, and humble as well as many other things. He wore a simple tunic and a cord, which he used as a belt. But when he was old enough to join the army he was given his fathers' clothes, helmet, and shield, ans as his father handed him his sword he told him that the heart of a warrior is his most prized possession and how he takes care of that heart determines how great a warrior you can become. with those words ringing in his head he left and never looked back.
